DR. Louis Marion

Dr. Louis R. Marion is a prosthodontist based in Philadelphia, with a background that goes beyond dentistry: a bachelor's and master's in Dental Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a prosthodontics certificate and a master's in Oral Biology from the University of North Carolina. His clinical work is grounded in a research history in ancient dental anthropology, and he's active in teaching and lecturing within the prosthodontics community.

I photographed Dr. Marion at the studio in New York for a doctor portrait focused on personal branding, not the standard clinical headshot. I wanted an image with real presence, something that reflects the precision and authority behind his work while giving him a visual identity he can use across his website, speaking engagements, and professional profiles. This is the kind of personal branding photography I like to do for physicians: portraits that carry weight and character, whether the setting calls for a white coat or something more personal.
