How We Work


  • Client selects a package and provides AHS (Andres Hernandez Studio) with a desired shoot date(s), if any.

  • AHS sends client a digital invoice for payment in full to secure shoot date.

  • Within 48 hours of the shoot, AHS provides client with a link to all watermarked previews taken during your session.

  • Client provides AHS with selections for retouching within 30 days of receiving previews.

  • AHS provides client with a link to download final images in high resolution jpg format within 7 days (or sooner) of receiving selections.

  • Note: All images from your shoot will live on the AHS server for 90 days after which a $50 fee will be incurred to retrieve any images from your session.

Q: What if I don’t know what the creative direction should be for my shoot?

A: Andres will help you determine what the vision for your shoot should be based on any inspiration you may have in mind. If desired, Andres will provide you with a mood board that details the types of photos (poses, settings, lighting) he recommends as well as hair, make-up and wardrobe suggestions, if needed.

Q: I’ve never done a shoot before. Will you help guide me?

A: Definitely. Andres has shot with people of all different skill levels, including many first-timers. He will guide you step-by-step throughout the shoot, from how to pose to answering any questions you may have on set.

Q: I’m not sure any of these packages fit my budget or needs. Can you provide something more personalized?

A: Yes, Andres can create a customized estimate for you based on your needs.

Q: Where is your studio located?

A: In Midtown, Manhattan. The exact address is provided upon booking.

Q: Can I reschedule or cancel my shoot and are there any fees associated with either?

A: Andres understands unforeseen circumstances can arise, therefore he offers clients the opportunity to reschedule their shoots one time only. Please note all cancellations will incur a studio rental fee of $100 per hour. Rescheduled shoots must take place within 90 days of the original shoot date. A full cancellation will incur a loss of 100% of your payment.

Perched on the 21st floor in Midtown Manhattan, our 1,000-square-foot studio offers sweeping views of the Empire State Building and One World Trade Center. Bathed in beautiful natural light, it’s a space designed to elevate every portrait session. Fully equipped with professional lighting, a dedicated makeup station, and wardrobe racks, the studio provides a refined and seamless experience. Conveniently located near 34th Street and 42nd Street train stations, it’s easily accessible for clients across the city. In addition to in-studio sessions, we also offer on-location shoots — arranged in advance — bringing the same level of care and creative direction to your chosen space.
